Accountability
As an organisation distributing community funds it is important that the Community Trust of Southland is able to ensure accountability for the use of those funds. At the completion of the project, successful grant applicants will be required to complete an accountability report confirming that the project has been completed, detailing the final costs of the project, and describing the benefits that resulted from the project. The Trust periodically undertakes financial audits of grants that have been approved - such audits are sometimes performed by Trust staff, and sometimes by external auditors commissioned by the Trust. The accountability reports are available from the Community Trust of Southland office, 62 Don Street, Invercargill, ph: 0800 500 185 or can be downloaded below as a Word document or in PDF format. |
